Computational Position

CRG BARCELONA

We are seeking a highly motivated recent graduate researcher to join the group and work on the prediction of protein-protein interaction.
The ideal candidate will have a background in biology/physics and will build models to characterize protein networks and events associated with diseases (eg Alzheimer's disease).
We require previous experience in Bioinformatics. The candidate should have already worked on the characterization of sequence determinants of protein folding and/or aggregation.
Knowledge of C++, Pearl and/or Python is essential.
This post-doctoral position will begin at the earliest in May 2010.
